What you will do

• Develop performant web applications using Next.js with TypeScript and server-side rendering optimizations.
• Build robust RESTful APIs using Nest.js with efficient request handling.
• Design systems handling 100k+ concurrent users with horizontal scaling, microservices, and fault-tolerant patterns.
• Optimize database schemas, queries, and implement multi-level caching with Redis.
• Design asynchronous processing with message queues and event-driven architecture for traffic spikes.
• Profile bottlenecks, conduct load testing, and optimize for memory, CPU, and network efficiency.

Requirements

• 5+ years developing high-traffic web applications with modern JavaScript/TypeScript
• Expert in Next.js optimization (SSR, SSG, caching) and Nest.js for performance-focused APIs
• Production experience with MongoDB optimization, Redis for caching/pub-sub, and message queues (RabbitMQ, Kafka, AWS SQS, Google Pub/Sub)
• Proven track record with systems handling 10M+ requests/day, distributed systems, database sharding, CDN integration
• Experience optimizing for sub-100ms response times, performance profiling, load testing tools
