Sr. SW UX Designer (Software)

TL;DR

What you will do

• Lead design initiatives for software experiences integrated with hardware connections.
• Create wireframes, prototypes, storyboards, and high-fidelity mockups to communicate design thinking.
• Develop information architecture for complex, multi-faceted systems.
• Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team of interaction designers, visual designers, and engineers.
• Present design solutions to senior leadership and advocate for user and business goals.
• Coordinate activities of other designers as a Design Lead to drive strategic vision.

Requirements

• Strong background in interaction design and systems thinking.
• Proven experience in desktop and mobile application design.
• Proficiency in design tools including Figma, Sketch, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
• Knowledge of accessibility guidelines and standards, specifically WCAG.
• Ability to navigate ambiguity and multitask in a fast-paced, self-directed culture.
• Must be based in one of the specified cities in China (Shanghai, Hangzhou, Suzhou, or Shenzhen).

Nice to have

• Deep expertise in user-centered design (UCD) principles.
• Experience with Abstract for design management.
