Software-Defined Network Engineer (NSX-T)

TL;DR

Software-Defined Network Engineer (NSX-T): Designing and managing software-defined network infrastructure across data centers using VMware NSX and Cisco ACI with an accent on network security and automation. Focus on bulk configuration via APIs, creating automation scripts for SDN integration, and resolving complex operational infrastructure problems.

Location: Hybrid (2 days/week in office). Must be based in or be able to commute to Prague, Brno, or Pardubice, Czech Republic

What you will do

• Manage and configure SDN environments using VMware NSX and Cisco ACI in company data centers.
• Configure NSX-T firewalls to optimize network security and efficiency.
• Automate bulk SDN configurations utilizing native API interfaces.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts integrated with Cisco ISE, IPAM, CMDB, and ServiceNow.
• Analyze and resolve complex operational issues within the network infrastructure.
• Mentor junior colleagues and contribute to the creation of security standards and vulnerability management.

Requirements

• Excellent knowledge of TCP/IP protocol and layer architecture.
• Proficiency with SDN networks in data centers and VMware technologies, including containerization.
• Experience in programming or scripting for infrastructure automation.
• Czech language proficiency (required).
• English level B2.
• Valid Category B driver's license.
