What you will do

• Rapidly design and build Android prototypes to explore new product ideas and emerging technologies.
• Design, implement, and maintain Android system services using Kotlin, Java, and the Android NDK.
• Develop JNI layers to enable communication between Android components and native C++ code.
• Implement and maintain communication with back-office systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including ML, cloud, and QA to deliver end-to-end connected features.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code for both Android and C++.

Requirements

• Over 5 years of Android development experience using Kotlin and Java.
• Experience developing system services or lower-level Android components.
• Solid understanding of multi-threaded programming and memory management.
• Proficiency in performance optimization.
• Experience with networking technologies.

Nice to have

• Strong experience with JNI and bridging Android to native code.
• Experience leading or contributing to Android proof-of-concept (PoC) projects.
