What you will do

• Own end-to-end test automation across SOAP/REST APIs and web UI for a secure cloud fax platform.
• Design and implement robust test suites using Playwright and SoapUI for functional, regression, and smoke tests.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Jenkins) to enable quality gates.
• Leverage AI tools to accelerate test design, triage failures, and improve overall test stability.
• Establish quality signals and dashboards to communicate risks and trends to engineering and product teams.
• Champion best practices for test design patterns, mocking, and test data management across the business unit.

Requirements

• 5–8+ years of experience in software QA/automation focusing on API and UI frameworks.
• Strong hands-on experience testing SOAP and REST APIs, including schema validation and auth flows.
• Proficiency with Playwright for UI and API automation using TypeScript or JavaScript.
• Proven ability to use AI tools (copilots, code generators) to enhance testing efficiency.
• Solid understanding of CI/CD integration, including artifacts, secrets, and environment gates.
• Source control proficiency with Git and collaborative PR workflows.

Nice to have

• Experience with secure document delivery, telephony, or SIP/T.38/G.711 concepts.
• Familiarity with contract testing (Pact), API schema validation (OpenAPI/WSDL), and mock servers.
• Experience in performance and reliability testing using k6 or JMeter and observability tools like Grafana.
• Knowledge of test data management strategies and container orchestration (Docker Compose).
• Experience with Azure or AWS services and secrets management.
