TL;DR

BSA Compliance Associate (Web3): Supporting the Financial Crimes Compliance program by conducting transaction investigations and managing regulatory reporting with an accent on BSA/AML and OFAC compliance. Focus on drafting SARs, handling law enforcement inquiries, and ensuring adherence to state licensing and money transmitter obligations.

Location: Mandatory in-office presence four days per week in Buenos Aires (Palermo office)

What you will do

• Conduct end-to-end investigations of transaction monitoring alerts and identify suspicious activity.
• Draft Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs) and support OFAC-related sanctions compliance.
• Assist with regulatory exams, audits, and Money Transmitter License (MTL) reporting obligations.
• Respond to due diligence requests and law enforcement inquiries, including 314(a) and 314(b) requests.
• Contribute to risk assessments, internal controls, and the development of compliance policies.
• Partner with Legal, Product, and Operations teams to resolve compliance issues and remediation gaps.

Requirements

• 2–4 years of experience in BSA/AML compliance or financial crimes investigations.
• Working knowledge of BSA/AML regulations, SAR requirements, and OFAC obligations.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to draft clear, concise investigative summaries.
• High level of integrity and strong organizational skills to manage multiple priorities.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Experience in fintech, digital assets, or banking environments.
• Familiarity with transaction monitoring systems and sanctions screening tools.
• CAMS or other relevant financial crimes certifications.
