TL;DR

iOS Engineer, Swift (Onboarding & Verification): Design and build critical onboarding and verification features for the native iOS app with an accent on seamless user journeys amid complex regulatory and compliance requirements. Focus on integrating multiple identity verification providers, orchestrating multi-step flows, and optimizing conversion, stability, and usability across markets.

Location: Hybrid in Barcelona, Spain – onsite collaboration required, with remote flexibility and additional 25 days per year to work from a city or country of your choice. Offices also in Vienna, Bucharest, and Berlin.

What you will do

  • Design, develop, and maintain high-impact onboarding and verification features on iOS, collaborating with product, design, backend, and compliance teams.
  • Build complex flows like registration, identity verification, AML questionnaires, and step-based orchestration for simple, fast user experiences.
  • Integrate identity verification providers (Sumsub, Onfido, Fourthline, SPID, Solaris, IDnow), managing edge cases, reliability, and fallbacks.
  • Own end-to-end onboarding experience, improving conversion, reducing friction, and refining performance, stability, and usability.

Requirements

  • Highly proficient in Swift, iOS architecture, UIKit, SwiftUI, and building production-grade apps.
  • Experience with complex multi-step flows and third-party SDK integrations in mobile apps.
  • Strong focus on systems, orchestration, edge cases, and backend-driven user experiences.
  • Proactive ownership to simplify complexity and raise quality standards.
