Associate Director, SAP Finance Solutions (Lead/Principal)

What you will do

• Define and govern the SAP Finance technology landscape, standards, and global templates for general ledger, fixed assets, intercompany, tax, statutory reporting, and month-end close.
• Provide hands-on SAP FI leadership across solution design, configuration, integration, enhancements, and testing.
• Integrate Finance processes with Controlling, Procurement, Order-to-Cash, Treasury, Tax, FP&A, Supply Chain, and Commercial platforms.
• Drive process improvement, internal controls, audit readiness, finance data governance, and measurable ROI.
• Lead SAP Finance implementations, enhancements, and regional rollouts across Poland, EMEA, and the global organization.
• Lead and develop the SAP Finance Solutions team and manage consulting partners and vendors.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in finance technology, including at least 5 years in a leadership role managing global teams and platforms.
• Deep expertise in SAP S/4HANA, SAP FI, general ledger, multi-currency configuration, fixed assets, month-end close, intercompany accounting, FX, tax, VAT, and statutory reporting.
• Knowledge of Poland and EMEA requirements, including SAF-T, KSeF, and split-payment processes.
• Strong understanding of FI-CO, MM, SD, Treasury, Tax, and end-to-end Finance integrations.
• Experience with global SAP templates, large-scale implementations, functional design, specifications, configuration oversight, and testing cycles.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or a related field; a master’s degree is preferred.

Nice to have

• Experience with BlackLine, Kyriba, tax packages, or adjacent Finance platforms.
• Knowledge of AI/ML, RPA, predictive analytics, and other Finance automation technologies.
