TL;DR

Customer Service Specialist (Calibration Lab): Handling customer inquiries, administrative tasks, CRM maintenance, and scheduling calibration services with an accent on metrology and quality assurance. Focus on quoting jobs, processing documents, and coordinating field services.

Location: Onsite splitting time between Henrietta, NY (client site) and Syracuse, NY facilities. Must be U.S. Person due to ITAR export control requirements.

Salary: $21.00 - $25.00 Hourly

What you will do

  • Answer phone calls, emails, and web requests to address customer inquiries promptly.
  • Greet clients professionally and provide administrative support for lab systems.
  • Maintain CRM system and process calibration documents for technicians.
  • Generate quotes, schedule field service jobs, and handle shipping/receiving.
  • Perform collections using accounts receivable system as needed.

Requirements

  • 2–5 years relevant experience with high school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in industrial, manufacturing, or electronic/mechanical support highly desired
  • Exceptional customer service, phone, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Attention to detail, ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook
  • Must be personable and comfortable interacting with clients and co-workers
