What you will do

• Define and implement SW architecture for reusable Linux components meeting HW qualification, manufacturing, and field analysis needs.
• Develop and maintain custom Linux distributions, services, and perform complex bring-up for chipsets, boards, and peripherals like network switches, modems, BT/WiFi, A2B controllers.
• Lead defect investigations, root-cause analysis, systemic improvements, and debugging across development phases.
• Conduct code reviews, create documentation (design docs, manuals, guidelines), and ensure quality standards.
• Collaborate with teams and customers, communicate status, mentor engineers, and drive technical coordination/delivery.
• Stay ahead of trends, foster innovation, and oversee task prioritization and TRS creation.

Requirements

• Good English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Extensive Linux expertise (device model, userspace, boot sequence).
• In-depth knowledge and bring-up experience with automotive chips (network switches, modems, BT/WiFi, A2B controllers).
• Low-level concepts (kernel, BSP, I2C, SPI), embedded hardware schematics.
• 7+ years as Linux software engineer, strong Python programming, embedded scripting, Git.
• Bachelor’s in computer science or IT-related field.

• Building custom embedded Linux (Yocto).
• Python web frameworks (Django, FastAPI).
• HW equipment proficiency, embedded hardware architecture.
