What you will do

• Provide technical support for rolling out new land administration systems, training, and capacity building for Plateau State Ministry of Lands.
• Supervise consultants on land digitization and GIS upgrades, ensuring quality, alignment with ministry priorities, and skills transfer.
• Support advocacy for inclusive land governance for IDPs, women, and vulnerable groups.
• Improve land registration processes, workflows, documentation, and GIS integration.
• Conduct capacity needs assessments, deliver training on humanitarian principles, and mentor ministry staff.
• Coordinate with state institutions for harmonized land administration approaches and contribute to reporting and lessons learned.

Requirements

• University degree in Law, Social Sciences, International Relations, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in humanitarian context, with expertise in HLP and local dispute resolution in Nigeria.
• Knowledge of context in North Central and North West Nigeria.
• Strong reporting, analytical skills, and ability to coordinate with stakeholders.
• Fluency in English, both written and verbal.
• Location: Based in Jos, Nigeria

Nice to have

• Experience in humanitarian or displacement contexts.
• Ability to speak Hausa and one additional local language.
