Salary Range: $173,676 - $210,741

What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Python for data access across teams.
• Develop reusable data services for ingestion, transformation, and ML model deployment.
• Collaborate with data scientists to productionize ML workflows using SageMaker or Vertex AI.
• Implement monitoring, testing, and CI/CD for data pipelines and ML services.
• Own real-time and batch data integrations with core systems and user-facing applications.
• Develop and optimize reverse ETL workflows using Hightouch.
• Mentor juniors, conduct code reviews, and foster engineering culture through documentation and communication.

Requirements

• 5+ years in data engineering or backend development with strong Python focus
• Expertise in clean, modular, production-ready Python code
• Strong data architecture, distributed systems, and security knowledge
• Experience deploying production ML workflows (SageMaker, Vertex AI, etc.)
• Familiarity with ELT tools (Fivetran), DBT, SQL, and large databases (Redshift, PostgreSQL)
• Experience with monitoring (Datadog)
• Team player with user focus and mission commitment to equity and civic engagement
