Simulator Pilot Instructor/Lead Instructor KC-30A (Aviation Training)

What you will do

• Deliver simulator-based pilot instruction for the KC-30A MRTT in accordance with RAAF AIT and hirify.global training standards.
• Conduct aircrew training aligned with approved syllabi, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Provide instruction, assessment, and constructive feedback to trainees.
• Maintain authorisation as a competent Simulator Pilot Instructor approved by the Commanding Officer of RAAF CFS.
• Contribute to continuous improvement in training delivery, safety, and instructional quality.
• Collaborate with the instructional and operational team while upholding hirify.global values and professional standards.

Requirements

• Possess, or be able to obtain, the qualifications required for KC-30A MRTT Simulator Pilot Instructor authorisation under RAAF AIT standards.
• Hold, or be able to obtain, a Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment or have recognised equivalent experience.
• Have at least two years of Military Qualified Flying Instructor or Operational Flying Instructor experience in an aircrew training environment, or meet the specified military air-to-air refuelling, Airbus first-pilot, or KC-30A MRTT Captain experience threshold.
• Hold a minimum civilian Grade 2 instructor rating and meet the required command-hour, Airbus first-pilot, or KC-30A MRTT Captain criterion.
• Be an Australian citizen and eligible to obtain and maintain an Australian Defence Security Clearance.
• Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication, interpersonal skills, teamwork, and alignment with hirify.global values.

Nice to have

• Leadership experience in an aviation training role.
• Military QFI or OFI experience on the KC-30A MRTT.
• At least 500 hours in airborne instruction and training roles.
• Flight simulator instructor experience.
