What you will do

  • Decompose game features from a level design perspective.
  • Develop prototypes for open-world locations and design in-game interiors.
  • Write and maintain detailed level design documentation.
  • Review location and zone art assembled by the team.
  • Test locations within the level design scope and fix structure-related bugs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve top-tier results.

Requirements

  • Experience as a Level Designer, specifically building levels for third-person games.
  • Proficiency working with Unity.
  • Understanding of level design principles in GTA-like titles.
  • Basic knowledge of 3D software packages.
  • Portfolio featuring a playable level build or a video walkthrough.

Nice to have

  • Participation in game jams.
  • Indie development experience with 3D open-world projects (first/third person).
