What you will do
- Architect and deliver high-impact computer vision solutions for complex project requirements in the defence sector.
- Lead the technical delivery of CV projects and provide expert guidance to multidisciplinary teams throughout the lifecycle.
- Contribute CV expertise to business bids and identify opportunities to integrate advanced visual intelligence into customer solutions.
- Master SOTA developments and share best practices across the business to maintain a competitive edge.
- Represent the organization as a subject matter expert in computer vision both internally and externally.
- Define technical CV strategy and mentor team members to foster technical excellence.
Requirements
- Deep understanding of SOTA Computer Vision AI, machine learning, and classical CV techniques.
- Proven track record of deploying CV models into production environments with a focus on performance and latency.
- Experience as a technical leader capable of architecting system architectures with minimal oversight.
- Strong proficiency in Python, including object-oriented programming.
- Eligibility for UK Security Clearance (SC).
- Ability to work on-site 2-4 days per week within the UK.
