What you will do

  • Manage day-to-day on-site operations of the Product Development engineering lab in San Francisco.
  • Author, review, and maintain lab procedures (SOPs/DOPs) and drive their adoption through training.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between Product Development, Quality, and EH&S for compliance and audits.
  • Own lab safety, housekeeping (5S), and PPE enforcement to maintain a safe environment.
  • Manage the equipment calibration program and oversee preventive maintenance activities.
  • Lead lab capacity and capability expansion projects, including planning and budgeting.

Requirements

  • STEM degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Biomedical Engineering, Chemistry, or a similar field.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience, including lab management or lab operations ownership.
  • Working knowledge of Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) in a regulated or quality-centric environment.
  • Experience owning or significantly supporting equipment calibration and preventive maintenance programs.
  • Proven ability to write and implement SOPs and lab procedures.
  • Must be based in or able to work on-site in San Francisco, CA.
