TL;DR

Senior Decision Scientist (Ecommerce): Leading the analytical side of a cross-functional team to optimize search experience by removing friction and introducing new features with an accent on A/B testing and statistical analysis. Focus on developing KPIs, analyzing feature impact, and providing data-driven business recommendations.

Location: Hybrid (Vilnius, Lithuania). 2 days in office recommended but not enforced.

Salary: €3,433 - €4,650 gross per month

What you will do

• Partner with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to identify strategic opportunities and provide recommendations.
• Test and analyze new features (e.g., image search) to validate business impact using statistical methods.
• Select, calculate, and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and identify root causes of issues.
• Build and maintain self-service dashboards to enable independent data exploration for stakeholders.
• Promote a data-driven culture by implementing analytics best practices across the organization.
• Review new business initiatives to ensure they are impactful through the lens of a Decision Scientist.

Requirements

• Extensive professional experience as a Decision Scientist, Data Analyst, or Data Scientist.
• Proven expertise in A/B testing and product development.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and at least one statistical programming language (Python, R, Julia, or Scala).
• Experience with dashboarding tools such as Looker or Tableau.
• University degree in statistics, econometrics, economics, business, or a related field.
• Excellent written and spoken English skills.
