What you will do

• Write and edit blurbs, captions, and transcripts adhering to FT style and quality standards.
• Coordinate with news desks to curate images, graphics, and video clips for digital content.
• Maintain and update website pages to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and consistency.
• Perform preliminary quality checks on grammar, style, and factual accuracy before final review.
• Support editorial operations during weekends and holiday periods as needed.
• Collaborate with senior editors to ensure smooth editorial workflows and timely delivery.

Requirements

• Excellent command of written and spoken English with a strong grasp of grammar and tone.
• Proven experience in copy editing and proofreading with high attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite.
• Familiarity with newsroom operations and editorial workflows.
• Ability to work under deadline pressure and a variable shift schedule.
• Must be based in Manila, Philippines to accommodate the hybrid working model.
