What you will do

• Hire, onboard, and coach a team of high-performing mobile engineers through 1:1s and structured development plans.
• Drive code delivery using continuous delivery and maintain strong connections with stakeholders via demos and retros.
• Evaluate and optimize the technical architecture of the mobile application to adopt industry trends.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Designers, and Marketing to manage development initiatives.
• Provide hands-on technical leadership and coding in Java, Golang, or Kotlin.

Requirements

• Experience leading mobile development teams through successful software projects.
• Proven technical leadership in solving complex architectural problems.
• Solid understanding of Agile software development and mobile development life cycles.
• Experience establishing processes for bug fixing and performance improvement.
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and adapt to company growth.
• Must be based in or able to work from the Auckland office.
