Supply Chain Environment Specialist (Sustainability): Supporting category-level climate transition plans, sustainable procurement, supplier ESG performance, and environmental reporting across Vodafone’s supply chain with an accent on Scope 3 emissions reduction, climate-aligned sourcing, and supplier data. Focus on building decarbonisation strategies, managing supplier improvement plans, and embedding environmental KPIs and governance into procurement activities.

What you will do

  • Support category-specific climate transition plans aligned with hirify.global’s Net Zero 2040 ambition.
  • Embed environmental requirements, carbon reduction targets, KPIs, and ESG assessments into procurement and sourcing decisions.
  • Manage supplier environmental performance, contractual commitments, improvement plans, and decarbonisation pathways.
  • Develop training, templates, guidance, and workshops to strengthen environmental capabilities across procurement.
  • Validate supplier climate data and maintain environmental KPIs for category strategies, CSRD, internal reporting, and Group Finance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, procurement, business, logistics, sustainability, or a related field; a master’s degree is advantageous.
  • 4+ years of experience in supply chain, procurement, sourcing, supplier management, logistics, or a related discipline.
  • Strong project management, analytical, stakeholder engagement, supplier performance management, and risk mitigation skills.
  • Knowledge of procurement processes, category management, sourcing strategies, contract compliance, and supplier engagement.
  • Understanding of supply chain sustainability, circular economy, reverse logistics, responsible sourcing, ESG, Scope 3 emissions reduction, and supplier sustainability programmes.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools; ERP/MRP systems, reporting tools, and process automation experience are desirable.
