What you will do

• Lead technical direction and propose improvements to architecture, tooling, and release processes.
• Design and develop high-quality features using Swift, while bridging from Objective-C codebases.
• Mentor junior engineers through constructive code reviews and technical guidance.
• Collaborate with product and QA teams to define release scope and ensure product stability.
• Build and maintain automated tests and optimize CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and Fastlane.
• Monitor release health via logs and metrics to identify and fix performance issues.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience with Swift and automated testing.
• Must be based in the United States.
• Deep understanding of Swift concurrency (async/await, actors, Sendable).
• Proficiency in iOS design patterns and experience with Objective-C migration.
• Strong ability to write clear, testable code with low dependency levels.
• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience.

Nice to have

• Experience with Firebase SDK, LaunchDarkly, or Microsoft Intune (MAM).
• Proficiency with Swift Package Manager (SPM) for modular architecture.
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools like GitHub Copilot or Cursor.
• Experience handling poor or intermittent network connectivity in mobile apps.
