Backend Developer Intern (Java)

We are looking for a Backend Developer Intern to join the KASE Academy team 🚀

Location: On-Site (Almaty, Kazakhstan)
Type: PAID Internship (200k-250k kzt)
Part-time (4-6 hours per day)
Terms: 3-4 months

We are building a stock market simulator — a real product based on data from the Kazakhstan Stock Exchange, designed to help students learn trading without risk.

What you will do:
— Develop the server-side logic of the simulator
— Build APIs for trading operations
— Work with user portfolios and balances
— Participate in testing and optimization

Tech stack: Java · Spring Boot · PostgreSQL · REST API · Docker · Git

Conditions:
— KZT 200,000 – 250,000 net salary
— 4–6 hours per day
— 3–4 months, office in Almaty
— Opportunity for full-time employment upon completion

We are looking for: 3rd–4th year undergraduate or graduate students (CS, SE, IS, FinTech) with knowledge in required tech stack.

Interest in financial markets will be a plus.
