What you will do

• Own Bingo technology strategy, aligning with product vision, commercial goals, and operator outcomes
• Provide hands-on technical leadership on Java backend systems, guiding quality and architecture
• Drive architecture and technical decision-making for complex, scalable platforms
• Act as primary technology partner to Product and stakeholders, translating requirements into solutions
• Lead and develop engineering teams, setting standards, mentoring seniors, and ensuring accountability
• Collaborate cross-functionally to balance delivery, technical debt reduction, and platform sustainability
• Ensure scalability, stability, security, regulatory compliance, and predictable releases

Requirements

• Strong hands-on Java backend experience in complex, production-scale environments
• Proven technical leadership in senior or lead engineering roles
• Comfortable balancing coding, architectural thinking, and people leadership
• Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• Experience in cross-functional, multi-team environments
• Pragmatic mindset focused on quality, scalability, and maintainability
