TL;DR

System Software Engineer (Embedded/Computer Vision): Implement C++ and Python software for data processing, system orchestration, and image acquisition with an accent on hardware-software integration and efficient data pipelines. Focus on developing scalable code in Linux/Docker environments, managing sensor data streams, and ensuring reliable edge-to-cloud data transfer.

Location: Tel-Aviv (onsite, full-time)

Computer vision and data company creating automatic vehicle inspection systems for manufacturing plants, dealerships, and fleets, with partnerships including General Motors, Volvo, and CarMax.

What you will do

  • Implement C++ and Python software for data processing, system orchestration, and image acquisition.
  • Acquire and manage data streams from sensors and imaging devices.
  • Develop and maintain efficient C++ code in dockerized Linux environments.
  • Collaborate with hardware and firmware engineers for seamless software-hardware integration.
  • Develop interfaces with embedded systems and MCU-based firmware.
  • Design and maintain data pipelines for heavy data (images/video) transfer from edge to cloud.

Requirements

  • B.Sc. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or equivalent (M.Sc. advantage).
  • Strong proficiency in Python and C++.
  • Experience in data processing and software implementation of computer vision.
  • Strong experience with Linux, system-level development (multithreading, processes, memory management).
  • Experience with Docker and containerized applications.
  • Basic understanding of embedded systems concepts.
  • Experience interfacing hardware with software via TCP/IP, Ethernet, and Serial.
  • Familiarity with cloud services and APIs for data storage/processing.
