TL;DR

Location: Hybrid work environment in the Eastern time zone, based in Columbia, MD. Expected hours 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM Eastern. Occasional travel (<5% per year).

Salary: $145,000 - $220,000

What you will do

  • Identify and cultivate new business opportunities in Health sector with BD and BU execs using account planning and relationship management.
  • Conduct research, competitive analysis, and track trends to inform strategic decisions.
  • Develop strategic partnerships and workshare agreements aligned with company objectives.
  • Manage full capture process from inception to proposal submission, ensuring compliance and compelling bids.
  • Lead solutioning sessions with technical teams to develop win themes, proof points, and response outlines.
  • Oversee proposal submissions and facilitate technical, management, and pricing solutions.
  • Bridge proposals, operations, and project teams for seamless collaboration and transition planning.

Requirements

  • 10+ years in strategic capture and business development in federal health sector, focusing on CMS (preference for NIH, CDC, FDA)
  • Deep understanding of Health operations, key personnel, programs, and contractor ecosystem
  • Established relationships with customers and partners in Health ecosystem
  • Proven success winning competitive bids for deals averaging $50M TCV across GWACs, vehicles, and task orders
  • In-depth knowledge of company technical capabilities to position against agency requirements
  • Current or ability to obtain public trust clearance
