Location: Hybrid in Sydney, Australia (2 days office, 3 days remote)

What you will do

• Configure and deploy Conversational AI solutions based on business and technical requirements.
• Build and maintain integrations using APIs, modern web technologies, and authentication standards.
• Optimize bot behaviors using conversational design and prompt engineering best practices.
• Develop proofs of concept (PoCs) and production-ready solution components.
• Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues across SaaS applications, integrations, and data flows.
• Collaborate with implementation engineers and project managers in customer workshops to validate feasibility.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
• 5+ years of professional experience, with at least 1 year in AI/Bot software or digital channels.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript; Python familiarity is a plus.
• Solid understanding of REST API, OAuth2, OIDC, SAML, CORS, and web security.
• Knowledge of conversational UX and prompt engineering techniques.
• Must be based in Sydney, Australia to comply with the hirify.global-FLEX hybrid model.

• Experience with enterprise conversational AI platforms (e.g., Kore.ai, Amelia, Dialogflow).
• Proficiency with SQL/NoSQL databases and data integration patterns.
