What you will do

• Design, implement, and deliver ML models to help millions of customers find products quickly.
• Invent or adapt new scientific approaches and algorithms based on customer needs.
• Analyze data to identify gaps in current solutions and propose innovative science improvements.
• Integrate ML models into production systems, balancing performance with strict response-time constraints.
• Contribute to research papers for internal and external peer-reviewed venues.

Requirements

• PhD, or Master's degree with 3+ years of experience in CS, CE, ML, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience building ML models for business applications.
• Proficiency in programming with Java, C++, Python, or similar languages.

Nice to have

• Experience solving business problems via machine learning, data mining, and statistical algorithms.
• Knowledge of deep learning frameworks such as MxNet and TensorFlow.
• Experience implementing algorithms using both existing toolkits and custom code.
