Software Engineer Intern (Fintech)

TL;DR

Location: Must be based in Gibraltar for the duration of the program. Physical attendance is required for onboarding sessions on July 6th and 7th.

What you will do

• Write clean, manageable code and participate in professional code reviews to improve quality.
• Identify and resolve technical issues and bugs to maintain platform stability.
• Contribute to the development of new features and the improvement of internal engineering tools.
• Gain hands-on experience with industry-standard tools like GitHub and cloud services at scale.
• Collaborate with developers and product managers to translate technical ideas into finished products.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a similar technical field.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript, or C++).
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
• Ability to break down complex problems into smaller, solvable steps.
• Commitment to writing neat code and performing thorough self-checks.

Nice to have

• Experience with web development.
• Knowledge of databases (SQL).
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
