What you will do

  • Lead, mentor, and grow a team of Android developers and QA/AQA engineers through 1-on-1s, performance reviews, and career planning
  • Design scalable solutions, define technical direction, coding standards, conduct code reviews, and stay current with Android trends
  • Contribute hands-on to critical features, complex challenges, CI/CD, and automated testing
  • Collaborate with Product Managers, Designers, drive sprint planning, track progress with Agile/Scrum metrics, and balance technical debt with delivery
  • Foster innovation, collaboration, knowledge sharing, and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment

Requirements

  • 2+ years of people management in technical leadership with proven track record of building high-performing teams
  • Experience leading Agile/Scrum teams and managing competing priorities
  • 5+ years native Android development with expert Kotlin, Coroutines, Flow, reactive programming
  • Proficiency in MV* patterns (MVVM, MVI), Clean Architecture, SOLID, Android internals, performance optimization, multi-module, dependency injection
  • Hands-on with AI-assisted tools (GitHub Copilot, Cursor), CI/CD, automated testing, build variants

Nice to have

  • Experience with system-level apps or privileged APIs
  • Background in mobile security, app hardening, or compliance
  • Experience with large-scale apps (1M+ users)
