What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain backend services, APIs, and microservices using Golang, Java, and Python.
• Develop RESTful and event-driven APIs with a focus on performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code following industry best practices.
• Optimize application performance, troubleshoot production issues, and implement efficient fixes.
• Implement secure coding practices, including authentication, authorization, and data protection standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate complex business requirements into technical solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• Must be located in the USA and aligned with the EST Time Zone.
• 5+ years of backend development experience using Golang, Java, or Python.
• Strong proficiency in data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented design.
• Hands-on experience with relational or NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB).
• Proven experience building and consuming REST APIs and backend services.

Nice to have

• Experience with microservices architecture and distributed systems.
• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and containerized deployments.
• Exposure to event streaming or messaging systems like Kafka, RabbitMQ, or SQS.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or GitLab CI.
• Understanding of observability, including logging, monitoring, and tracing.
