TL;DR

Director of Federal Sales (Defense): Leading the sales team and driving revenue growth for portable radar systems within the US federal government with an accent on the Department of Defense. Salary: $230,000 - $300,000 OTE

What you will do

  • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing sales team, establishing goals and a culture of collaboration.
  • Execute the sales strategy to expand the adoption of portable radar systems within the US federal government.
  • Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation and qualification through proposal and close.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with executive stakeholders, procurement leaders, and technical buyers in the Department of Defense.
  • Partner with product, engineering, and marketing teams to align customer feedback with go-to-market strategy.
  • Establish repeatable sales processes, forecasting discipline, and CRM hygiene.

Requirements

  • Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
  • 10–15 years of sales experience, including leadership of high-performing teams.
  • Proven track record of selling directly into US federal government agencies, specifically the Department of Defense.
  • Experience managing the full sales cycle for complex or technical solutions.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance in the future.
  • Strong executive presence and ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly.

Nice to have

  • Background in security, counter-UAS (C-UAS), defense, or airspace security markets.
