What you will do

• Strategically develop and manage a portfolio of 8-9 journals in applied physics and materials science.
• Acquire high-quality content in collaboration with external journal editors and internal commissioning teams.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with editors, reviewers, authors, and the broader research community.
• Identify and recruit new editors for editorial boards and oversee their training and development.
• Promote journals via social media and outreach activities to increase content submissions.
• Track KPIs, analyze market data for new titles, and draft proposals for new journal launches.

Requirements

• Academic degree in the physical sciences (PhD preferred).
• Previous experience in academic publishing.
• Fluency in English, both oral and written.
• High level of computer literacy and strong organizational skills to meet deadlines.
• Must be willing and able to travel internationally when required.
