What you will do

• Design, build, and operate reliable, scalable distributed systems.
• Automate infrastructure, deployments, and operational processes using Infrastructure as Code.
• Improve system availability, performance, and resilience to ensure minimal downtime.
• Diagnose and resolve production issues and lead complex migrations.
• Drive best practices for monitoring, alerting, and capacity planning.
• Contribute to incident management, post-mortems, and disaster recovery strategies.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience specializing in Kubernetes and AWS.
• Strong programming skills in Ruby.
• Expertise in Docker, EKS, RDS, S3, IAM, VPC, and Load Balancers.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and IaC tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Pulumi.
• Proficiency with RabbitMQ (or Kafka/SQS) and relational databases like MySQL or PostgreSQL.
• Must be based in Bulgaria, Uzbekistan, Lithuania, or Georgia.

Nice to have

• Experience with Ruby on Rails or Spring Boot frameworks.
• Experience operating high-traffic SaaS platforms.
• Knowledge of cloud cost optimization and Chaos Engineering.
• Experience mentoring junior engineers.
