Software Engineer for Investment Accounting (Fintech)

Location: Copenhagen, Denmark; hybrid workplace model

What you will do

• Develop and maintain features in the Accounting product area.
• Contribute across the full development lifecycle, from requirements analysis and design through implementation, testing, documentation, and support.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Architects, and engineering colleagues to deliver secure, high-quality solutions.
• Create and maintain system, integration, and unit test cases and automated tests.
• Learn the investment accounting domain and contribute to engineering best practices and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Strong software engineering fundamentals, including algorithms and data structures.
• Proficiency in at least one object-oriented or functional programming language; C# is beneficial.
• Willingness to learn and use in-house tools and frameworks, especially the APL programming language.
• Experience with relational databases and SQL, plus familiarity with CI/CD and trunk-based development.
• Readiness to work with complex accounting concepts and financial and investment-related instruments.
• Upper-intermediate English or higher, written and spoken.

Nice to have

• Experience with cloud technologies.
• Experience in the fintech domain.
