TL;DR

Senior Software Engineer (.NET): Designing and maintaining production-grade backend services for hirify.global’s cloud platforms with an accent on API design, cloud-native patterns, and system scalability. Location: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia (Flexible working arrangements)

What you will do

  • Design, develop, and maintain production-grade backend services running in Microsoft Azure using cloud-native patterns.
  • Build facade and common APIs (REST and GraphQL) to encapsulate business logic and reduce platform complexity.
  • Manage data-intensive services utilizing Azure Cosmos DB and other NoSQL data stores.
  • Improve CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes to ensure high delivery quality.
  • Mentor other developers through technical discussions and code reviews.
  • Utilize AI-assisted development tools like GitHub Copilot to optimize productivity and code quality.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of professional software development experience.
  • Strong backend development expertise with C# / .NET (.NET Core and/or .NET Framework).
  • Proven experience with Microsoft Azure and Azure Cosmos DB.
  • Practical experience with Docker and familiarity with Kubernetes.
  • Experience designing and consuming HTTP APIs (REST, GraphQL).
  • Strong communication skills in English (written and spoken).

Nice to have

  • Experience working on SaaS or enterprise platforms.
  • Familiarity with hirify.global products such as XM Cloud, XP, or SXA.
  • Experience with event-driven or distributed architectures.
  • Interest in developer productivity and the applied use of AI in software development.
