What you will do

• Organize and oversee accounting and tax reporting across all areas, ensuring timely period closures.
• Prepare and submit tax, statistical, and financial reports; interact with tax authorities and support audits.
• Consult on accounting/tax matters, assess tax risks, and structure transactions for optimal tax/accounting outcomes.
• Monitor foreign trade, currency control, and settlements with non-residents; apply DTT and MLI rules.
• Assess tax implications of international transactions (WHT, VAT, transfer pricing); manage accounting department and employee development.
• Interact with banks, auditors, and counterparties.

Requirements

• Location: Kazakhstan
• Higher education in accounting/auditing/finance/economics; 5+ years as chief accountant or deputy.
• Russian: fluent
• Experience in accounting for group of companies/multiple legal entities; foreign trade (import/export) with non-residents.
• Experience with Double Taxation Treaty (DTT), MLI rules; in-depth tax legislation knowledge.
• Tax audits and tax authority interactions; proficiency in 1C and Excel.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of IFRS and MLI rules.
• Professional certificates (accountant, tax consultant, auditor, CIMA, CPA, ACCA).
