TL;DR
Senior Data Platform Engineer (Igaming): Design, build, and evolve a robust modern data platform in a Data Mesh approach with an accent on reusable backend services, self-service tooling, and platform adoption. Focus on cloud-native services on AWS and Kubernetes, translating data domain needs into scalable designs using DDD and Hexagonal Architecture principles.
Location: Liège, Belgium (hybrid, remote up to 50%)

What you will do
- Design, build, and maintain backend and platform services powering the data platform
- Create reusable, scalable platform capabilities for Data Engineers and Analysts
- Operate cloud-native services on AWS and Kubernetes, managing full service lifecycle
- Translate data domain needs into clean service designs using DDD and Hexagonal Architecture
- Drive adoption and usability of platform capabilities across data teams
- Act as senior technical contributor, sharing knowledge and elevating team performance
Requirements
- 4+ years as Data Platform Engineer or Data Engineer
- Expert in Python, advanced in .NET
- Strong knowledge of distributed systems, Kubernetes deployments/operations, AWS data services
- Fluent in English (spoken and written)
- Autonomous, product-oriented, collaborative across teams
- Communicate complex technical concepts clearly and document solutions
Nice to have
- Experience or interest in Data Mesh, DDD, Hexagonal Architecture
- French language skills
