We are a leading FX and cryptocurrency trading desk at a major bank, operating at the intersection of traditional finance and digital assets. Our core focus is USDT/RUB and BTC/RUB markets, where we run significant proprietary positions, provide institutional market-making liquidity, and execute systematic arbitrage strategies across offshore and onshore exchanges. – Assist in managing proprietary positions in USDT/RUB, BTC/RUB, and related instruments;
– Support market-making operations: quoting, hedging, and spread management;
– Monitor and execute cross-venue arbitrage opportunities across Russian and international crypto exchanges;
– Track real-time P&L, positions, and risk limits with precision
– Conduct quantitative analysis of price dynamics, spreads, and execution quality;
– Monitor regulatory developments and exchange mechanics relevant to CNY/RUB and crypto markets;
– Contribute to strategy research and improvement of flow business processes.

Requirements

– Degree in mathematics, physics, or economics from a top Russian university (MSU, MIPT, HSE, St. Petersburg State, NES, or equivalent);
– Strong quantitative foundation: probability, statistics, linear algebra, optimization;
– High attention to detail — zero tolerance for errors in numbers, positions, or records;
– Genuine passion for financial markets — you follow prices, read market structure, think in risk/reward;
– Ability to stay calm and act quickly under pressure;
