What you will do

  • Design and implement commercial strategy, go-to-market frameworks, channel strategy, customer segmentation, and territory planning.
  • Own pricing strategy, margin management, and governance including value-based pricing and competitive benchmarking.
  • Build sales force effectiveness programs, deploy CRM platforms like Salesforce, and develop training curricula.
  • Lead customer and channel management, key account frameworks, and contract negotiations.
  • Establish commercial analytics centre for market analysis, demand forecasting, and performance tracking.
  • Coach commercial team, collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Supply Chain.

Requirements

  • 10+ years progressive commercial experience, including 3+ years in commercial excellence, pricing, or strategy leadership.
  • Proven track record in chemical, agricultural, or life sciences sector with understanding of crop cycles and regulations.
  • Deep expertise in pricing, margin management, sales force effectiveness, CRM transformations, and commercial analytics.
  • Experience managing high-performing teams across multiple geographies.
  • Proven track record of working effectively in remote team settings.

Nice to have

  • Exposure to biological crop protection, precision agriculture, or sustainable inputs.
  • Experience in multinational matrix organisations with European, African, or emerging markets.
  • Familiarity with S&OP or integrated business planning.
  • MBA or postgraduate qualification in Business, Commercial Management, or Agricultural Economics.
