Location: Hybrid in Taipei, Taiwan (3 days in-office required)

What you will do

• Act as technical leader, guiding architecture and design of complex, business-critical systems.
• Drive hands-on development of critical components, setting high standards for code quality.
• Build scalable solutions for massive datasets, ensuring system stability and reliability.
• Architect centralized access layer for safe, efficient integration with Large Language Models.
• Own high-throughput content data infrastructure for ingesting, processing, and serving recommendation data.
• Co-own automated ad quality pipelines to enforce safety standards at scale.
• Manage full service lifecycle from design and coding to deployment, monitoring, and incident response.

Requirements

• 7+ years hands-on coding in Java or similar OOP languages
• Deep CS fundamentals: OOP design, data structures, algorithms, multithreading
• Experience with SQL/NoSQL (MySQL, Vertica, Cassandra, BigQuery)
• Common frameworks: Spring, Maven, Kafka, Apache Spark
• Building/managing data pipelines and distributed systems
• Backend integration: APIs, web services, message queuing, security
• Strong problem-solving, quick learning, communication in cross-timezone teams
