What you will do

• Handle diverse caseload of insured and uninsured contentious and non-contentious professional risks matters
• Advise on professional indemnity, public liability, property damage, D&O, and cyber risks
• Lead on complex coverage issues and disputes from defendant’s perspective
• Act as day-to-day lead, setting strategy, reserves, and delivery plans
• Supervise and support junior lawyers and administrators
• Contribute to business development, internal referrals, and team growth, focusing on London Market work

Requirements

• Experience handling professional indemnity and/or liability insurance claims (defendant-side)
• Exposure to policy coverage advice and disputes
• Background in insurance-focused or defendant litigation teams
• Ability to manage own caseload across wide range of values and complexities
• Strong communication skills and client-focused approach
• Capability to support and supervise junior colleagues
