Full Stack Software Engineer (Backend)

Location: San Pedro Garza Garcia, Nuevo Leon, Mexico; Monterrey, Mexico

What you will do

• Develop, maintain, and enhance backend services, RESTful APIs, and platform infrastructure.
• Design RESTful web services and integrate PostgreSQL, SQL, and DynamoDB databases.
• Build scalable, serverless, and microservices-based solutions with AWS Elastic Beanstalk, Lambda, S3, EC2, and RDS.
• Collaborate with frontend and DevOps teams on integration and deployment.
• Process files and data using Python libraries including pandas and numpy.
• Debug issues, optimize performance, document technical processes, and participate in Agile and Scrum practices.

Requirements

• 3+ years of backend development or full-stack experience with a backend focus.
• Proficiency in Java and Python.
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices, and serverless architecture.
• Experience with PostgreSQL, SQL, DynamoDB, and AWS services.
• Knowledge of data structures, algorithms, file management, and Git.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills are required. A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience, is required.
