Data Monitoring Engineer (SQL)

What you will do

• Monitor daily operations across the data value chain.
• Track data intake through API, email, and FTP channels.
• Perform daily data QA using monitoring boards and intake data.
• Identify inconsistencies, unusual patterns, trends, and errors, then communicate findings.
• Investigate and resolve operational data issues.
• Document findings, follow established procedures, and propose process or product improvements.

Requirements

• 1+ years of IT-related experience.
• Knowledge of SQL Server.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills applied to issue resolution.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate with an internal team.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• Availability for early-morning or late-night shifts and the ability to work in Monterrey, Mexico.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of PostgreSQL, SSIS, or AWS Athena, Spectrum, and Glue.
• Interest in data trends, rules, and behavior.
