What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance backend services in Python.
• Build and optimize large-scale data processing pipelines on Databricks.
• Implement efficient algorithms, data transformations, monitoring, alerting, and observability for data workloads.
• Collaborate with Data Scientists, Product Managers, and engineering teams to deliver scalable solutions.
• Contribute to architectural decisions, technical strategy, code quality, CI/CD, and documentation.
• Troubleshoot production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and optimize system stability.

Requirements

• 5+ years of backend software engineering experience with strong focus on Python.
• Hands-on experience with Apache Spark, Databricks, or similar distributed-processing frameworks.
• Proven ability to design and optimize high-scale data pipelines handling large datasets.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems, parallel processing, performance tuning, data structures, algorithms, and system design.
• Familiarity with cloud environments (Azure, AWS, or GCP) and modern CI/CD processes.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.

Nice to have

• Experience in data lakehouse architectures or cloud-native data platforms.
• Familiarity with container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Background in cybersecurity, analytics platforms, or large-scale SaaS systems.
