TL;DR

SoC Functional Validation Engineer Intern (Embedded/AI): Validating silicon products focusing on functional, power, and performance metrics with an accent on test automation and hardware-software interaction. Focus on developing validation infrastructure, debugging silicon products, and implementing automation using Python and C++.

Location: Hybrid (Austin, TX or Santa Clara, CA). Must be based in the US and not require immigration sponsorship.

Salary: $77,300 – $104,600

What you will do

  • Perform functional, power, performance, and electrical validation of silicon products.
  • Develop and implement validation infrastructure and test environments.
  • Write automation code and simulation scripts using Python or C/C++.
  • Conduct triage and debug activities to ensure product readiness and quality.
  • Analyze validation metrics and performance data to ensure high product quality.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • Direct programming experience with Python or C/C++.
  • Must be authorized to work in the US without immigration sponsorship.

Nice to have

  • Experience with System Verilog.
  • Knowledge of Computer/System architecture.
  • Hands-on experience with logic analyzers and oscilloscopes.
  • Understanding of AI/Machine Learning concepts and development.
