What you will do

• Build scalable systems and components focusing on stability and long-term maintainability.
• Design, write, and release platform or product-facing features with strict correctness and scalability requirements.
• Identify and implement opportunities to improve system performance and reduce operational risk.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners, client teams, and vendors to deliver core financial products.

Requirements

• 2+ years of software development experience.
• Proficiency in Go or Python.
• Experience with Kafka and data streaming technologies.
• Track record of delivering large-scope technical projects with high code quality.
• Experience handling and processing large volumes of data.
• Location: Must be based in Toronto, Canada

Nice to have

• Experience at a fintech company or financial firm.
• Familiarity with Postgres, K8s, Redis, and AWS.
