TL;DR
Lead Robotics Engineer (ROS2): Define and govern system architecture for mobile robots, robotic arms, drones, and multi-robot deployments with an accent on integration, cloud connectivity, and high-reliability production systems. Focus on designing complex multi-node ROS2 architectures, optimizing sensor fusion, path planning, and simulation environments like Isaac Sim and Gazebo.
Location: Poland, Remote/Office. Flexible Workplace - work from home, or in any office of your country.

What you will do
- Define and govern system architecture across diverse robotics platforms including mobile robots, arms, drones, and fleets.
- Establish engineering standards for branching, code reviews, testing, QA, and documentation.
- Drive projects from prototyping to production, coordinating hardware, software, and cloud integration.
- Mentor senior and mid-level engineers, conduct technical interviews, and shape hiring criteria.
- Own robot-cloud integration strategy with telemetry, OTA updates, and fleet management.
- Lead applied research, pre-sales demos, and represent engineering in client discussions.
Requirements
- Seasoned robotics professional with proven track record leading teams and delivering complex systems end-to-end.
- MSc or PhD in Robotics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
- Deep expertise in robotics fundamentals, control systems, C++, Python, and ROS2 architecture.
- Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Azure), CI/CD, simulation (Isaac Sim, Gazebo), SLAM, sensor fusion, MoveIt.
- Knowledge of real-time systems, IoT, ARM, RTOS, PLC, SCADA at integration level.
- Fluent in English at professional/advanced level (spoken and written).

- Experience in technical pre-sales, demos, and client workshops.
- Exposure to regulatory, safety, or compliance frameworks for autonomous systems.
