TL;DR

Senior Impact Analyst (Sustainability): Researching, analyzing, and quantifying solutions to sustainability challenges for smallholder coffee and cocoa farmers with an accent on precision agriculture, livelihoods, carbon sequestration, and microfinance. Focus on designing, piloting, evaluating, and scaling interventions through rigorous testing and fieldwork in origin communities.

Global remote work, but significant presence required at origin in Latin America, East Africa, or SE Asia; homebase at or near origin preferred but can be discussed.

What you will do

• Research, analyze, and quantify potential of sustainability solutions with rigor and practical testing.
• Assess and develop interventions in precision agriculture, sustainable livelihoods, carbon sequestration, microfinance.
• Lead design, launch, management of programs: piloting, partnering, monitoring, evaluating, scaling.
• Spend substantial time in smallholder communities in Sub-Saharan Africa, Latin America, or Asia.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to build credibility and relationships.

Requirements

• 2-6 years experience, including at least 2 years in high-intensity environment like strategy consulting, finance/PE, VC-backed startup.
• University degree in science or engineering (preferred), plus 1-3 years in relevant domain.
• Strong quantitative/analytical skills; familiarity with large datasets, basic statistics, scientific method; comfort with R, Python, AI tools for coding/automation.
• Ability to structure complex problems and communicate clearly in decks, meetings, or field conversations.
• Ruthlessly positive attitude, mission motivation, appetite for fieldwork and adaptability.
