What you will do

• Manage and mentor a team of five Accounting Operations Specialists, conducting 1-on-1s, team meetings, and performance feedback.
• Oversee month-end close processes, AR reconciliations, customer deposits, factoring, revenue/discount reconciliations.
• Resolve escalated issues on vendor payments, invoice generation, credit confirmations, and fee deductions.
• Prepare for external audits by ensuring documentation and reports are ready.
• Monitor team performance via metrics, SLAs, implement improvement plans.
• Lead process improvements, identify bottlenecks, foster innovation and feedback.
• Collaborate with internal/external stakeholders, provide reports to senior management.

Requirements

• 5+ years of General Ledger Accounting experience
• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Proven leadership/supervisory experience in accounting operations or finance
• Advanced Excel (VLOOKUP, SUMIF, pivot tables) and accounting software (QuickBooks or Sage Intacct preferred)
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple deadlines
• Excellent communication skills for remote team leadership
• Customer-facing experience in finance, accounting, or logistics preferred
