Location: The position is based in Milan, Italy. Relocation support available for researchers moving to Italy.

Salary: up to €50,000 depending on the candidate’s seniority.

What you will do

• Design, test, and debug software solutions for seamless ERP functionality.
• Collect and analyze development requirements from departments to deliver tailored enhancements.
• Maintain and update applications for compatibility with business and tech advancements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve ERP issues to minimize disruptions.
• Assist with system upgrades, new features, and module implementations.
• Provide user support, training sessions in coordination with HR, and process improvements.

Requirements

• Excellent command of English (written and spoken) and full professional proficiency in Italian.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Finance/Accounting, Information Systems, or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of experience with SAP S/4HANA Finance, SCM, and SRM including configuration and user support.
• In-depth knowledge of SAP S/4HANA configuration and in-app customization.
• Strong understanding of ERP operations in financial accounting, procurement, and supply chain.
• Experience with testing and troubleshooting SAP S/4HANA applications.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• SAP S/4HANA Public/Private Cloud Implementation consultant certification.
• Previous experience in a similar role at a research institute.
